Pro-touring at its best!

RMD Garage's 1959 Chevrolet Apache is the custom pickup of your dreams! Although RMD Garage wanted to maintain the classic and functional aesthetics of the 1959 Apache, everything on the exterior and interior has been customized by the team. When a shop is tasked to build a car for SEMA, it is an opportunity for the team to flex their muscles and present to the world what their shop is capable of.

Tried and True LS3 Power

As a true gearhead, you are probably wondering what powers this beautiful truck. RMD Garage did not skimp on performance and worked with Turnkey Engines to configure a 6.2L LS3 crate engine with a custom camshaft to produce over 550hp. By working with Turnkey Engines, RMD Garage was able to have the engine delivered ready to install into the truck without any hassles! The build's primary sponsor, SCT Performance, provided the ECU and tuning to make sure the beastly LS3 is dialed in.

Nothing to hide here...

Unfortunately, most pro-touring trucks end up hiding their high-dollar aftermarket chassis under their truck beds. However, RMD Garage wanted to make sure to show off how impressive their state-of-the-art chassis built by TCI was by installing a clear acrylic truck bed lining.

To suspend the truck onto the chassis, RMD Garage chose Ridetech to manufacture a custom coilover package to have this truck handling as well as modern sports cars.

Luxury and class!

The amazing interior maintains the classy metal dashboard and bench seat look while modernizing everything. The gauges were custom built by Classic Instruments to provide an original look while providing contemporary performance. The interior is finished off with custom seats and a center console covered in the finest leather.

Guess how many man hours were put into the bodywork...

The best builds retain an understated look while integrating an immense amount of custom work. RMD Garage claims to have put over 200 hours in the bodywork alone to make each body line and seam perfect. The truck is completed with the custom two-tone paintwork that is timeless!

The custom Raceline wheels were built with a 24" rear and 22" front wheel to provide an aggressive staggered stance. Toyo tires wrap these wheels to keep this truck glued to the road.

Overall, the custom bodywork and LED lighting all culminates to provide an unmistakable aesthetic that will never go out of style!
