1956 210 Hardtop

There aren't many 1956 210 hardtops left in this condition. This one was built on a rust-free Arizona body and has had extensive stainless steel work performed. Now it's up for sale and comes with an itemized restoration invoice.

Powertrain

Powering this beauty is a 5.7-liter LS1 engine, which has been fitted with an Edelbrock Pro-Flow XT intake manifold with a 102 mm throttle body. All of this unit's power runs through a T56 6-speed manual transmission with a South Bend single disc clutch and Wilwood clutch master kit that's rated at 400 horsepower. From the transmission, the power is sent to a driveshaft that's rated at 500 horsepower.

Handling

This 210 turns through a power rack and pinion steering setup. The whole car sits on a JW Rod Garage chassis. Keeping everything in check when you put your foot down is a Ford 9-inch Positraction rear end with a 3.70 gear ratio and 31-spline axles.

Performance Upgrades

Keeping everything cool under the hood is a 2,780 CFM Griffin crossflow aluminum radiator with 11-inch dual electric fans. This 210 exhales through a stainless steel exhaust system with Magnaflow headers and mufflers.

Finishing Touches

This car has been finished in an eye-catching black and white paint scheme. But it's the little touches that capture your attention in this car, like the billet aluminum hood hinges.

Interior

This model's red leather interior perfectly contrasts its black and white finish. At a glance, the interior looks restored but, upon closer inspection, you'll see the subtle upgrades, which leave no doubt that this car is a resto-mod.

Stopping Power

It would be downright irresponsible to drop an LS1 engine in a 1956 Chevrolet 210 and not upgrade its brakes. Thankfully, this car's builder fitted four 11-inch Wilwood power disc brakes, which should bring everything to a quick halt.
