Up for Sale: Get Low in This Custom 1961 Chevelle
From its drivetrain to its sound system, no area was overlooked in this '61 Chevelle's build. Now that it's going up for auction, could you be tempted to place a bid?
Mayhem
The custom '61 Chevelle pictured above has undergone a comprehensive frame-off restoration. It's been given the name 'Mayhem', but this starkly contrasts the attention to detail which has gone into creating this car.

Drivetrain
Under the hood sits an LS1 V8 unit which has been thoughtfully dressed in billet, chrome, and stainless elements. All of this engine's power passes through a Tremec T56 6-speed manual transmission before it's sent to the 12 bolt rear end with 4.11 gears.

Wheels
This Chevelle rides on 18-inch Foose wheels that house Wilwood disc brakes. These rims are wrapped by wide, low-profile tires.

Style
It's hard to know where to start when talking about this car's exterior, but its deep Brandywine paint job by House of Kolor is as good a place as any. Much of this car's look is achieved by its Air Ride by RideTech suspension. This system allows the car's stance to be controlled by Air Ride fobs.

Electronics
This car isn't all show, it's been equipped with a host of electronic upgrades to make your driving experience even more pleasurable. Music lovers will be happy to know it comes with a custom stereo with a 12-inch subwoofer. It also features a rear-view camera.

Custom
Cars don't get much more custom than this Chevelle. It's been fitted with Ring Brothers hood hinges, clutch fluid reservoir, interior door handles, door strikes, and locks. It also has a custom interior and dash.

Engine Modificaitons
This is no ordinary LS1 engine, it's been fitted with a host of aftermarket parts. Pop the hood and you'll see a Holley Sniper electric fuel injection system, CVF Racing serpentine system, and ceramic coated headers.
