Valarra Body Kit Makes C6 Look like Modern-Day Hypercar

Looking like it just stepped out of a time machine from the future, Valarra's wild C6 Corvette certainly stuns.

Time Machine

With a radically new C8 Corvette on the way, the C6 Corvette is officially looking a bit dated. Not that we find it unattractive, but you can't blame owners for wanting something a bit more modern looking. Thankfully, a company called Valarra has the solution to make your older 'Vette look like something that just arrived on a time machine from the future.

Track Record

This crazy new body kit was designed by Matthew McEntegart of Mattao Concepts, who has created plenty of other wild and notable kits, including the one that graced the Joker's car in Suicide Squad. His latest radical creation fits any C6 Corvette model and can be had for the price of $30,000, not including the donor car, of course.

Extroverted Design

Of course, that's just the entry-level price for a body kit only. But oh, what a kit. This minimalist design is also quite extreme, with massive vents everywhere and a rear section that's virtually wide open with plenty of exposed piping. And of course, it's also fitted with the requisite massive rear diffuser and huge rear wing.

Unique Machine

The end result of all this work is a car that almost looks nothing like a Corvette from any generation. You're pretty much guaranteed to be asked what the heck you're driving, no matter where you go. And we suppose that's just part of the fun of owning a Valarra Corvette.

Large Rollers

The body itself is constructed out of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic, which also means that it's likely pretty lightweight and strong. The show car version of the Valarra also sports a unique set of 24" wheels wrapped in 275/25 front and 405/25 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. Personally, we can't imagine it riding around on stock Corvette wheels. Given how this car looks, that would be shame, really.

Endless Customization

And that's just the beginning. Valarra claims that it can customize each car to pretty much any specification. That means interior spec, of course, but also pretty much any sort of performance modification you can imagine. Then again, we already know the sky's the limit when it comes to GM's venerable LS platform.

Rough Installation

Installation of the kit takes place at Valarra's facility but doesn't include any paint or finishing bodywork. So you'll either have to do it yourself or have a pro take care of that for you, and that'll obviously cost a pretty penny depending on which direction you go. But then again, the finished product is probably worth it, to be honest.

Looks that Kill

Valarra says it will begin taking preorders for its shiny new kit soon, with installations beginning after the first of the year. Personally, we're looking forward to seeing these things in the flesh. Especially since it's also inevitable that someone will pack enough power in one to match its incredible looks.
