You guys seemed to have lost a lot of oil capacity by notching the oil pan. Are you planning to do anything to add some capacity back to it by chance?
You guys seemed to have lost a lot of oil capacity by notching the oil pan. Are you planning to do anything to add some capacity back to it by chance?I believe his name is Bill Hagen, but I can't remember for certain. He was one of the first guys to throw a V8 in a 3rd gen RX7 way back in the day and he moved onto the beemer afterwards. I know he posted a bit of information about it over at torquecentral.com and later on v8rx7forum.com split off from it. You might be able to search the archvies over there, but I wouldn't expect to find too much detailed info.

i love that body style .
why did you go with a 700r4 as opposed to a 4l80-e , seems the 700 is ticking timebomb with the weight and power of that car.
did you look into an oil accumilator ( accusump) by anychance to help with the oil capacity issue ?
and what are you going to do for guages?
