New Pictures Of The Hawk....new Wheels And Engine Mods The SOM car is on jack stands waiting on some suspension stuff to get back from the chrome shop...so I got board and spent some time on my Firehawk today.
I wanted to see what 19in wheels would look like on it, and since I had some just setting there I figured I would put them on. I think the back tires are too big for the Formula body lines but the rim size looks perfect TO ME. I have a SLP/Bilstien kit to go on the car so it will be about 3/4in lower as soon as I get around to putting it on. I am thinking SP500s would look better on it too...

And even though its my driver...I just cant stand stock. I added the MSD coils and wires (and NGK plugs), the SLP TB, a Hotchkiss STB (powder coated white) and had the MAF ends and VCs powder coated white. Its at least presentable for now...

I really like the looks, but would recommend you install a grill over that subwoofer. I killed one after finding out the hard way that it CAN extend far enough to hit stored T-Tops after which bad things happened

Are you going to the Wings and Wheels show on the 11th? I am getting the SOM car back together this weekend so I am planning to come up to it (we are going to the GM Bash at Silver Springs next weekend.)
Speaking of that...you should sell me the ones off your Hawk! On second thought just trade cars with me...I would kill for an SOM one!
My bias for arctic white aside, your car looks awesome! So tastefully done!
