This is for an f-body but principle is the same. Only difference would be removing the front bumper, rad etc to give you clearance to pull the cam.
Hope this helps.

So I woudnt have to drop the motor like you do in an fbody? Thats really my biggest concern, how to get room to pull the cam(ie dropping the motor, or pulling the bumper).

I did the cam install in my 05. Didn't need to pull the bumper or drop the motor. It is an easy install and it was my first time EVER working on internal/engine parts. The springs for the valve train takes the most time. Make sure you get another bolt and make sure you set the timing of the cam right. I was off one tooth and it killed 30hp. Would go up to 390 and then drop off with 2-3k left. Went back in, fixed it and pulls all the way to 423. Much better. Good luck, it's a lot of fun... sometimes.

So all you did was take the radiator off? How long did it take you to do the cam? How long did it take to do the valve springs?

It's easy. You take out the radiator, just tilt your condensor out or the way, make sure you have the tools, or some dowel rods to hold your lifters up, and it's cake. I actually popped out one of my grill inserts to help get the cam straight out. I know a lot of people say to replace your crank bolt, but I didn't the first time I changed my cam. I just checked the threads and made sure I didn't strip it going back in. I even reused it in my stroker motor. BUt that's me and I might just be lucky. Also make sure you get the marks on the timing gears lined up. They are a bitch to see, but if they are right on, then you'll be good to go. Valve sprints are definately the hardest part.

takes about 8 hours, but it is real easy and straight forward. The only thing that really takes some work is getting the radiator out. Everything else is just bolts. Take your time, double check everything. I have done 4 at my house. Make sure you have a good torque wrench or a large wrench and breaker bar to get the crank bolt on and off.

Weird, not coming up on my computer now. It's a word document I received a couple of years ago. Let me try it when I get home.

Edit: Did you try to right click and save it to your computer, it just worked for me. If it doesn't work, PM me with your e-mail address and I'll send it there, it's a 3 mb Word Doc.
