Default FRONT suspension uneven, not rear!

I've been reading many posts about f-bodys sitting uneven in the rear, but my problem is in the front suspension. On my 99 SS I just recently replaced all suspension parts, strust, upper mounts, and the springs were new but i didn't buy them. All parts were stock parts. Got the car back together and the driver's side sits a little higher than passenger, and the passenger side wheels seems to sit inside the fender more, while the drivers side is out more. I have no idea what caused this, but i didn't notice it before. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you had the front-end alignment done yet?

I originally took it to a shop to have the new shocks installed, and they did a horrible installation and it was making a noise. they did an alignment when they were done. i then researched and replaced the upper strut mounts myself, but i haven't had the car aligned since then, it drives straight and doesn't seem to be wearing tires uneven, that's why i'm confused on why it sits this way.

If the springs dont sit correct on the struts it may cause it to sit uneven.

The springs seemed to be sitting fine on the struts. But if they weren't on correctly wouldn't it make a type of noise or something? The suspension is quiet, no squeeks or bangs or anything.

A good alignment shop should be able to tell you whats wrong. Good luck finding one.
Also noticed the mismatched front tires, wheel offset the same? (I know that has nothing to do with tires)
A good shop can tell you in minutes, this thread might go on for months.

so you think the alignment is causing one side to sit higher than the other?

No I don't think it's the alignment.
My point is...you take it to a chain store and they will align that car.
Take it to a good shop that maybe specializes in alignments, and they will not align it, they will tell you whats wrong with it and say it needs to be fixed first.

Before you replaces the worn suspension parts was it the same?

I don't really remember, if very well could have been, but i only had the car a month or so before i replaced the parts. It made that clunking noise right after i bought it which means when the previous owner had the springs installed the shop didn't tighten that top nut very well.

I definately see your point. I'm thinking i may wait until summer though. I mean it hasn't wore tires uneven in the past two months, and i put about 300+ miles on it per week. Is it something that needs resolved ASAP?
