bolting a th400 on my ls1 have some questions.

Default bolting a th400 on my ls1 have some questions.

I have the hughes crank spacer but does it go inbetween the crank and the flexplate? Or does the the flexplate still bolts to the same place but the spacer pushes the converter back without messing with the flexplate or can someone post pics on how it looks like when its said and done. Thanks ill be installing it this weekend so info is important thanks!!!

Can you look at the spacer you have? Or did you just order it? I don't think you can install it wrong.
Hughes is one of few (or the only) that does not have bolt holes and a flange.

That's the one I have. But do I need longer flexplate bolts or longer converter bolts.

No. You just tap that into the end of the crank. It doesn't effect anything, it just makes up for the shorter crank pilot on a regular th400 converter.

I am running that spacer on my current setup and had to purchase converter indexing shims to make it space out right with a stock flywheel. The flywheel that hughes makes has the bolt holes already moved back toward the converter so that is something you will have to look into. I will see if I still have the part number laying around I think they came from Jegs because Summit doesn't stock them

Ohhhh really so the normal converter bolts and flexplate bolts work I was getting confused lol thanks!
