Default F%#@%ng balancer!!!!!!!!

Does ANYONE have any tips that can help me get this harmonic balancer off! im using the 3 jaw puller, attaching it to the inner diameter of the pulley and it just wont stay on under pressure.

maybe you are using the wrong size puller. make sure the puller's hooks are grabbing the best part of the ribs to get maximum grip. also, you are pushing against a loosened bolt right? one time i took the bolt out of a car and was pushing back on the center of the balancer and then couldn't figure out why i kept breaking my tools. dumbass me then.

now wait, when you say loosend bolt, you're not talkinthe bolts on the puller are you?? i'm using a three jaw puller. should i be using a bolt style puller???

no what i meant was the center crank bolt. it should be loose but still in the crank. that way the center of the puller has something to push against.

I Had to get a puller for the LS-1 but the big pain in the *** was getting it back on.They do sell one that takes it off and put it back on. A guy on the Florida forum is selling one.

right on, i have the crank bolt out. the motors coming out next weeken, so it should b easier on a stand.

THE CRANK BOLT HAS TO STAY IN. not tight but loose. you have to have something for the center of the puller to push against.
