Default Tune - A/F

I've spoke to several tuners and I've got from 12.0 to 12.8 air to fuel ratio for the road course they recommend of doing. What do most of you run?

IDK how road racing would be different when it comes to A/F, but I can tell you most cars are best at 12.5-13.1 pending timing, mods, etc. for N/A.

On a road course it is a better idea to stay a touch on the rich side compared to a drag race motor. Road racing is more of a sustained load than a few second long drag race, so cyl head temp has to be taken into account. Once the head heat soaks, you will get nothing but knock.

I would aim the tune for the 12.3 - 12.5:1 range with some extra fueling on decel if you track the car a lot or participate in longer sessions.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I'm not into road racing, but I love me some more knowledge.

Definitely makes perfect sense.
