Default I got my Lingenfelter CNC LS3 heads..

They look great, and had to share!!

#5364 castings, I sent them my GM #12569427 hollow stem LS3 valves and they finished everything off, including hand blending the bowl area. I had them milled .030" to a 69cc chamber after porting. I cant wait to get this thing back together!!

They look great! What is your compression going to be with 69cc chambers?

The CNC work looks nice. How much material did they remove from the runners? What is the rest of the combo?

My calculations say 10.47:1. Although I am assuming how far my pistons stick out of the hole at this point. I havent removed the old heads yet to see. Im assuming .004" in my calculation.

Go with the 223/231. I run a 224/235/610/620/115 and it idles perfect in an A6, I wish I would have gone a bit bigger actually (230/240). My plan was LS3 heads as well with a 150 shot, as the reason for the big split. Ended up with TEA 243's but kept the split for the N20.

how did you still have a 69cc chamber? They are ~70cc stock, give or take a few. I have read from 69-72cc.

The porting in the chambers removes material, IIRC they were 74cc after port work, then I had them milled.

If you are going to put a cam in go with something much larger. Shoot Patrick G a PM.

I don't want anything larger, there's no reason for it at this point. Cams are cheap and easy if I change my mind.

Initially I was going for the 215/223 LSR cam to keep it as quiet as possible but yet have all kinds of Torque and power.

Ive run a 215/223 LSK lobed cam before and it didnt reach peak power until 7200RPM in a 5.7L, and I have no intention of turing more then 7000. Larger just means louder and more obnoxious. I want tame and easy to drive, that's why I made sure to get great heads to help make lots of power without having much camshaft.

Heads look awesome. Could you post some pics of the intake bowl and short turn radius?

Do you realise you are abnormal?

That's far too logical a way to think.

If you go with the flow, you have to buy the biggest cam you can find (coz big numbers mean something) ....f+^k the heads.
Then when yer done say "Hello bucking bronco!"

Ah, no problem amigo, ...just patch it up with a looser converter and or some magic tuning software.

I don't wanna hear anymore about these piddling pea-shooter cams, okay!

heads look great man im trying to make my mind up on my heads as we speak. The small cam and great flowing heads is the exact same way i think my 427 is going to be in the 230 to low 240 range. if you don't mind me asking whats the price on a set of them?

have u considered the LPE GT11 cam? i have a theory that it will work excellent with l92 based heads. i have had excellent results with it in a stock cathedral port head and 6.0. it was very responsive and aggressive for such low duration. im thinking of building a l92 375ci with this cam but single plane and carb.
