LG Motorsports has done it again Allngn_c5 drove home the new 402 !!
adds up to a bunch of fun, a few races with X factor Pittbull (very cool person), some test driving at LGM, 3 dyno pulls, and then the drive home. It all adds up to an HONEST real world 23 mpg. I didn't use the cruise control on the way home. New motor and all I was varying the speed between 65 and 85 as much as I could, had cruise control been used the number would've been significantly higher. Actually it was less then 53 gallons but who wants to split hairs. A 402 that was driven for over 1200 miles with plenty of stops due to my sore legs LOL, plus a few races, and dyno time that put out an honest 23 mpg + lays down 517.3 rwhp with 513.8 rwtq is amazing in my opinion. Speaks volumes of the quality of LG Motorsports workmanship. I am very happy with the power she makes, too bad the Run flats wouldn't let me hook up very much of it. Still a lot more fun then the old h/c 346. Idle is dead on at 1025 rpms. Drivability is much improved. The extra cubes really tame the g6x3. Good choice of cam for anyone doing a stroker that is looking for tons of power under the curve. Especially when used with afr 205's. Compression is just a hair under 11.1 to 1 so no real need to push 11.5 or higher to make big power, sorry no DCR #. Everything about this build is better then the last motor. I am however trying to adjust to the calm exhaust note after being used to the thunderous bullets. Not complaining, actually quite happy because I don't have a headache from the noise level. Good deep and refined sound, and you can hear the person in the passenger seat, also the important 3 honks in the event of a race....
Want to thank everyone at LG Motorsports, I'll start with the big guy Lou Gigliotti, his son Louis, Bobby, Anthony, Sean, and last but not least Mikey. Everyone did a great job on this project, and I am very pleased with the results. Don't want to forget Jonathan, hey brother thank you very much for picking me up at the airport. Funny thing though, the LGM limo looked like a Nissan Pathfinder, and where was the red carpert ?? Thanks man, and nice to finally meet you.
Also need to throw a thank you out to Ron at Vengeance Racing for going above and beyond by making the ported FAST 92 a work of art. Great job Ron.
Can't forget Tracy Lewis at RevXtreme. Thank you so much for putting the icing on the cake. The tb issue we had was a real let down. I really appreciated how you stepped up with a willingness to correct the issue and get it back to LGM so quickly. Thanks again Tracy, couldn't have done it without your tb modding.
Oh yeah, Brandon aka X factor Pittbulls, thanks for meeting me up at the shop. Very nice to meet you, and thanks for testing my 402 frc with your 3200lb 4.10 geared 415 stroker camaro. I was shocked that we were even on the second race. Must've been the VHT. That **** works.

Brandon pulled me on the first "test run", but on the second we were even. He's got a strong *** car. He said she weighs 3200 lbs due to all the stuff thats been removed.

I plan on changing the oil today, or tomorrow and then putting some miles on her with a trip to Central Michigan to visit friends.
