Default 427cid LS3 with Dry Sump in E36 BMW done and running

This is customer Scooter Glass' 1994 BMW E36 that we recently completed a 427 cubic inch LS3 based conversion with a T56. Was running for the last year with a junk yard pull out LS1 and it finally locked up. Since he road races the E36 we opted for a full dry sump oil system.

With out breaking in the engine and a ultra conservative tune we got 520 rwhp and 500 rwtq on our dynojet chassis dyno.

Expecting another 10-25rwhp and similar torque when the engine is fully broken in and with a more aggressive tune.

Not bad for a 2600 lb car.

Very nice build and you could have some fun with people in that car for sure.

What size exhaust are you running? It looks like a single 3'' out back? Couldnt you gain more with duals tucked up nicely or atleast a single 4''? Or was the smaller exhaust chosen to keep things quiet?

It's a single 3.5" exhaust. It's not a restriction at this power level.

The headers look like they tuck up nice against the block. Do you have more installed pics?

We manufactured a kit and this was the car we did the development on. The owner of the car has over a year of road racing on the swap components with out one single issue (other than locking up the junkyard LS1 from too many G's on the track).

Just got word back that the customer was running the car hard all weekend down at Texas World Speedway with out a glitch!
I'd love to see the look on peoples faces with that thing flying by.
