The rings and pistons would be $100 more. If you need a 2618 piston, it will be $300 more.

We don't stock Callies stuff, so that would be special order.

What kind of lowerend components are you using in your LS3/415 combo? Eagle crank, Mahle pistons, Eagle rods, etc...?

Thanks, Joe

Yep yep and yep. We can Armour coat the rods and crank for an additional $275.98.

Eagle is putting a one year guarantee on them if they are coated.

You could, but you would have to upgrade to a forged rod and hellfire rings at the same time, so it would be $2499.99.

Correct, these are shortblocks. You would swap all the stuff you already have onto these setups.

whats the difference between dished pistons and flat tops? what does it do too compression? what apps are each generally used for?
also, what does the bigger dish do say from -2cc to -12cc? im assuming for FI apps?

A dished piston is, well, dished. It has a negative impact on compression ratio, so it will be lower.
The dished pistons would be used for someone who would want to use forced induction on a vehicle. Or, maybe they are going to really be working it hard and don't need all the squeeze the flat tops offer.

so is there a rule of thumb for how many cc the dish is as in taking of points of compression?

when the time comes i want to do an ls3 or ls7 swap w/ a 200 shot and im assuming dish pistions are going to be needed.but im not sure how low i should go or what's recommended.

No, it all depends on what size the shortblock is. 1cc of combustion space will have way more impact on a 4.8L than a 7.0L.

As far as the dish goes, it all depends on what size shortblock you need. How about we discuss it in detail when you are ready to order. That way it will be fresh in your head.

on your iron block 427 for $3499, what would need to be changed to run a larger amount of nitrous- say a 300 shot?

We will have to step up to a 2618 forged piston rather than a 4032 forging.
