for every one who had something to say about ROBZ 9sec pass Please check out this months GM High Tech
Great article about ROBZ car making 9 sec pass with a stock bottom end 346 no power adders
and after the pass the engine was torn down on the spot...
for all of you that called BS or had something to say ... please be a man and admit to rob and to tommy and troy of AMR you were wrong

Will be interesting to see what everyone has to say here...... cause man his thread got ugly and all the accusations and now BLAMBOOOHHH!!!!!!!! Here we are 
Congrats again to RobZ and posted on corvette forum where he's not banned for getting so much flack for being the 1st and only at the point in the game he's at. Maybe we should see some apologies and take the ban away and let the guy back on the forum. Theres obviously alot to learn and I always hear great things of him at the track helping people go fast which is what we all need IMO.
P.S. I'm coming after you RobZ with a 410ci motor iron block and some spray
Damn it just doesnt have a ring to it like stock cube 9's 6spd.

That is moving !!! Whats Rob got again ?? Stock bottom end 346 and what H/C setup ?? I can't remember. What clutch ?? Damn that is moving. I am just hoping for my 402 to see 130 in the 1/4 and Rob is knocking on the door to 140 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have run three nine second passes so far. One was on a street night.
Best pass to date is 9.93.
Best 60' so far is 1.410
So the motor was torn down for the article??? I hope its being built back up as a stroker! 
Was a 9 sec pass made at the track before the tear down and did it hit the scales too?
I still wanna know how you gain 32 mph on the back half in a H/C car though.

What gears does Rob have and are there stock gears in the trans ?? Picking up 32 mph on the back half is pretty damn amazing. I think its possible if you have custom gearing in the trans that is 100% optimized for the 1/4. Was Rob literally at the Rev Limiter when he crossed the 1320 ?? Not trying to start anything, just want a little more info.

Either way Rob, its a hell of an accomplishment !!!!
Pretty sure he has 4.10s and if I recall correctly I believe he has M12 gearing. Im sure one of his buddies will be in soon to confirm. Even people on the limiter at the strip in a manual H/C car typically only see 28 mph. If changing 4th gear ratio will net 4 extra MPH in the back half I'd love to hear about it.
