pretty cool project
Used a lot of parts from Gary at ARE with a bunch of custom stuff also.

No testing. Cost compared to dollar to hp - dry sump is not worth it. It is for a real road race car where oil control is needed.

Actually at 520rwhp, a single 3.5" pipe may be a restriction. Of course the only way to know is to either dyno it open or stick a 4" exhaust on it.

Not really. We have done extensive testing on our chassis dyno. Going to 4" might net 5-10 rwhp. Not worth it for the clearance issues on a chassis like this.

Figured there was a clearance issue on the car for the 4" exhaust...

That's the model E36 I've been toying with in my head... a proper dry sump, large cube, reliability.

I wonder if the 4door E36's are much different in the engine bay...

Runs great, since the snow is gone I am driving it every day again

I made some changes to the engine last fall and will be back at the dyno in the next few weeks.

What kind of rear end is in the car to be able to survive above 500hp? Were those custom shafts?
