1978 Malibu LQ9/LS6 --TCI 4l60E Swap(updated 2-5-2010)
I am in the middle of swapping EFI LS power into my Regal. Swap is going very well so far, some stupid hang ups I have encountered but I am building it all myself so thats a given. I look forward to following your thread.

Also, did you have to replace the steering column shaft for fitment, or because our stock ones aren't too nice looking? I've got a '79.
Lastly, did you fab. the bumper-mount brackets? Is that a stock Malibu bumper?
TIA!

I am using Mid-Length BRP Headers and going to mate it with a 2.5 or 3.0 exhaust system
Fuel System--- Using a 87-88 4.3L Fuel injected gas tank, Sending unit with Walbro 340 Fuel Pump mounted on it, and Stainless Steel Tank Straps.
This Sending unit has a threaded feed line which with a russell 14mmto-6an fitting screwws right on and 5/16 compression fitting to get the return line back and we are in business.
Going to use Black Push-Loc fittings and hoses from Tank to Fuel rails

87-88 Monte Carlo EFI Tank with Factory Sending unit mounting 340 Walbro pump w/ hot wire kit. The reason went this route is the feed line has a 14mm line fitting and russell make a fitting to convert to -an line. On the return a 5/16 compression fitting and thread a -an line on it.
Now you have enough fuel for some nitrous and N/A --- Also have external press regulator and billet fuel rails already installed.
