New Times.. Ms4, PRC, FAST,4k, 410s, etc..
Not really sure what all is going on here. For what it is worth let me sure share something with you all. When I had my stock 92K mile engine in the car with a weight of 3,665 lbs. It only had long tube headers and 3.70 gears with ET Streets it ran 1.54 60 foot 7.533 at 89.14 1/8 mile and 11.94 at 111.17 1/4 mile. The valve covers had never been taken off the engine and it even had an LS1 intake on it. You can see you ran faster then me at that time your car is making some power.
That same engine with the stock auto, converter and stock 10 bolt with 323 gears put down 329 HP and 350 TQ before I installed the TH400, stall converter and 9 inch rear which we all know only takes away HP and TQ so if my car can run a 7.53 1/8 ET and a 11.94 1/4 ET with lower HP and TQ numbers then I stated above yours will run better once you get traction.
Now change the torque arm and add the drag sway bar and put some ET Drags on the car and get the ET downs. I was running the above times with all stock parts on the front of the car minus the sway bar and stock sway bar on the back with air bag in right rear.
Good luck! You actually only need the right air bag!

Lemons had 94 MPH's on his runs so the car has some power. I was simply showing that if you put the power to the ground it can run a number.
That maybe the case for both cars not sure. If my car can turn a 7.53 1/8 mile ET with a stock engine with only headers and a lid through an LS1 intake at 3,665 lbs. I would think there should be no problem for 6.90's out of Lemons car once he puts the power to the ground. One thing is for sure if you spinning your are losing ET. If he installs a 26 inch ET Drag he will pick up a full tenth with just adding the slicks if not more.
I will add I never ran my ET Streets below 14.5 lbs. and I will never install them on my car again!!

I was saying that in January we was so sure that his car would be out of my league and as it turns out, it isn't/wasn't. It may be shortly but it wouldn't have been back then. Cold weather may have made more problems for him hooking and he could have been worse off.
As I stated if he wants to pick up ET the car needs to go down the track with the tires applying the power to the ground. I also stated you may have the same issue not sure since I no nothing about your car! What I gather is it must be slower then Lemons based on the post in this thread!
Not bashing anyone. I hope this helps clear up any misunderstandings.

actually going thursday night to pick up a set of drag bags and installing them friday before i head to the track..
like you did, and like i have been saying.. if you look at the entire slip (not just the et) the car has a LOT more left in it...
im saving now for a TQ arm and a rear sway bar!

again, thanks man.. and to everyone else contributing to the thread..
your exactly right... the farther we went, the fuglier it would get...
it would be uglier than he thinks also with me running that 7.2 the other night.. he thinks he would run his little 7.4 at huntsville....
http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...time=4:40%20PM
Piedmont Dragway @ 5:54 (around the time 7.444 pass) on 4/16/09. DA=1098'
http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...time=5:54%20PM
And again at 9:54 (last pass of the night, 7.441 pass). DA = 410'
http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...time=9:54%20PM
So I saw roughly a 600' drop in DA as the night went on and gained .003 off of it. Rule of thumb is usually one tenth per 1000' of DA. Maybe my first run was great and my last run wasn't, so it ended up being the same.
I think I could manage a 7.4 at Huntsville in decent weather, such as the weather you have last Friday.
I also enjoying hearing great advice, such as N2RACINGLS1s, saying to over tire the car because you're suspension doesn't work. Whatever you have to do, I guess.

He has the faster/more powerful car, but I outrun cars like that all the time.

yes i do... i dont know what i have been thinking... i have the FASTER, MORE POWERFUL car... you have the SLOWER, LESS POWERFUL car... i have ran FASTER TIMES you have ran SLOWER TIMES... why the **** would i be able to beat you!? makes no sense.. i see the point you have been trying to make the whole time.. my bad man... congrats on being right about everything..
to everyone but one..

your so smart man.. im jealous..
no... chrs1313 would run about mid 13s@178,000mph... huntsville would kill his 60 foot.. but i think he would breath pretty good up top..
your so smart man.. im jealous..
By you own admission you have a 10 second car. Chrs1313 is barley in the 10s. You should be able to slaughter that. He runs a 6.8 in the 1/8 in good DA. You should have that easily with a 6.9 at your track, right? I mean there has to be some reason why your car runs so shitty for what it is.
