Default FULL EXHAUST 00 WS6 Vs. EVO FULL BOLT-ONS TUNE!

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/E...-am_648945.htm

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozYwKdsHTLo

I've been up since 6:30am and worked 13hours that day so i was tired and i missed the first 2 races...

2000 Trans Am WS6 M6 Pacesetter's ORY Magnaflow Air Lid, no tune stock plugs and wires vs. this Evo that has a tune and i guess some pipeing but tunes do a lot because you have boost i guess, i dont know much about them i have a F-body.

OK he beat me to 110mph, and its by a car his car should apparently of beat me any way.... he does a 12.5 at like 110 in the 1/4 i guess.

Now i figured this is roll racing, we stopped when he let off at about his top of 4th he had some left i guess his 4th goes to 110mph, now arent most roll races to at least 120mph? I wonder if i would of tied or won if we went to 120.

But then i heard that your not supposed to race in overdrive which is his 5th which begins at 110mph. So does that mean anyone with a evo doesnt go over 110mph ever while racing??? Idk enjoy but i wonder if i would have possibly passed him @120mph but idk i dont really care just figured i would see what people think.

i dont know what a lot of that meant, but there's no rule about roll racing other than it doesn't start from a stop.

If you actually setup the race.. maybe 45 to 120 or so is about the norm. It's not really a rule, though.

Lol.... This thread is part kill, part bench race!!!! Good luck sarge!

OP, I would have say like BHD did that there is no set speed! If you want to set a speed then that is up to you and the person that you are racing! Talk to who ever your racing and see if they will race upto 130+ I see races go anyware between 90 all the way up to 160! Just depends on you and what you want to do! Next time if he hits the brakes then blaze past him! Slow down, and then call him a chicken **** for not following thru on the kill! Bet you ANYTHING that he will run his car til it runs out of breath on top end for the next race!

i was thinking the same thing, if he hits the brakes or lets off, stay it in 100% and tell him you were passing as he let off, should spark him up enough to race to a higher speed.

MR's have 6 gears vs the others that have 5 so the MR has a shorter gearing ratio.

Evo's run out of steam on the top end.

If they would have kept going, no doubt he would have reeled in the Evo and passed him.

5th is an OD gear for us, so Evo's tend to fall on their face in 5th unless they have a decent mod list.

I'd say he should still be able to pull to around 120mph with the stock rev limiter in 4th.

You were not going to catch him by 120 as bad as he walking away.

How s? He was walking him from the start and kept going. He gave him everything he needed from a race, AWD sucks from a roll, turbo's suck from a roll. Stop making ricer excusses. From a dig you would've been destroyed so take this death and figure out how to make your car faster or find slower cars.

I don't think the OPer could get his car in gear to pull past the Evo up top.

Evo won. The "what if"s don't matter. Evo won..

There is no excuse for missing gears that bad. Start saving for an automatic.
