Default 4l60e twisted input shaft splines out of the drum

is there a company thats makes a billet of forged input drum w/ input shaft? i keep twisting the splines out of the stock drum..

The billet shafts available from a couple places. No billet drum yet though.
But Few questions, This is not something we have seen alot of with either the sleeved or unssleeved drum. Yes it happens occasionally but not on any regualr basis. What shift kit are your using, Are the shifts super agressive. Are you by chance letting the converter lock during shifts?
About the only times we see this is in heavy 4500 5000 pound trucks and we have several of them turning well into the 11s.without doing this.
Tell us a bit more about you car and trans?

i know where you can get a hardened input drum with a hardened shaft..cant post it though cause its a non-sponser...

Well the hardened input shaft is easy enough, But hardened drum? I know CK has something they are working on but not available yet.

The so called hardened input drum that he is referring to is the one from "Torque Drive". Stay away from them. All you need is the steel sleeve, matching overrun piston and seals, and "modified" forward steel molded rubber piston. I have not seen one fail.

Default stamped steel drum

i found a company that makes a stamped steel drum and has the input shaft with.. they say there lighter and way stronger.. as for the motor set up it is a iron 6.0 with partriot stage 3 heads milled .30,ms4,ls6 intake,etc. trans has a trans go shift kit,sonnox 2nd &4th gear servos,five pinion finger gear, z pak 3rd&4th,kevlor clutchs,etc..
