Nice Kill. I for one am not going to sit here and preach to you about street racing. We all have done it at one point in our lives. You made sure it was safe as possible yada yada. Been there done that. I dont race on the street anymore, as ive grown past that, but I wont rain on your parade!

Its safer for me to ride at 100 on my bike than is for any old man to ride 65mph on a an Electra Glide.... I can turn, stop, accelerate harder at that speed than he can on his.... I know people that can do the Licensing test on ONE WHEEL! Most people can pass it on a Sportster let alone, and oversized turd of an Electra Glide, softail or anything like that........
Yet your the kinda guy that would turn me in for a 40mph wheelie in 55mph or zone, and NOT call the guy in on the Harley for passing you do 70mph.......... Cuz you dont know and dont have the experience or the ability TO EXPERIENCE stuff like this....Cuz ur mind cant comprehend this..... U just cant possibly understand how a person on one wheel can possibly have that much control....

Uh huh....you just keep on living your little drug coma world. Good eye on my typo, but for years that cam was listed as .498/.510 unless it's a mildly updated grind cheif. I've got 13psi worth of s-trim that might tell you different though....and I've been down the ported GT-40s road w/ my brothers cobra.

I know where RS is coming from and I respect his position. I honestly hate stupid drivers myself but I analyze the situation a little bit myself before I do things like that. I'm not like the other idiot teenagers who go to the bridge downtown (with a good 20-30 cars filled with people walking across to each sidewalk) doing a burnout in rain and flying up the bridge going 90mph.. those people are dangerous and embarassing to us f-body users everywhere.
I originally posted in the lt1 mods section, thats where RS started the reply Warning me of the consequences of my actions.. but I mostly stick to Track racing.
IowaSpeedway (newton) has an 1/8th mile track (pretty much a pitlane, concrete not the best for drag) Eddyville is a sticky track more or less for Iowa. Have never been to Cedar Falls yet. And we also have a nice 1/8th and I think 1/4 track in the Council Bluffs'ish area..
And the argument about Harleys and crotch rockets, I just say "To each there own" Don't judge what another man drives. I think everybody should have atleast some respect what people drive as long as they take care of it. Whether it be a Kenne Belle Cobra or a heads/cam/nitrous F-body. Both cars are badass and deserve respect. Old school IROC's can be made fast (weight alot less than my 4th gen) but that all depends on what the user has in it. The moral for my friend in the Cobalt, don't underestimate somebodys ride... he definitely did mine, and all he got was a nice look at my taillights

lol i guess alot has changed since i moved away-I lived in the New Sharon/Oskaloosa area so Eddyville was pretty close to me, thats awesome you guys have more tracks to go to now. Back in the day I think all we had was Eddyville or Cordova-guys from all over would come down to Eddyville just to race the little 1/8th mile we had.

good kill op, Way to shut up your friend. He's severely misguided if he thinks LT1's are a joke for cobalt's. Also tell him to stop being a ***** and pulley that bitch down to a 2.5, and put meth injection on the car. That way it will actually be decent.
I've heard that the stock engine gets unreliable <2.7pulley?? idk maybe hes just being a bitch lol...
Most Cobalt guys told me you need bottom end work done and it becomes inefficient even on a ported blower with a 2.5" pulley.. Idk about Cobalt's though so I'm going to shut up now lol

I will agree with the Eclipse and MS6 but the new Cobalt SS/TC is huge improvement over the older supercharged ones. I believe there is a guy on here who's buddy has one with a few bolt-ons and some more boost and is trapping like 113. I think that is pretty damn good for the little mods it has.
