No Kore3 kit would correct the issue, its a matter of wheel offset unfortunately.

The lines need to be designed with the F-body fitting on the chassis side, and the Brembo fitting on the caliper side, and with the correct length. Which is why its best to order them from EB Miller at Flynbye Performance, you will get the exact lines that are needed.

I just went on his website, went to the product, clicked add to cart, and payed him the $75 through paypal. And he sent me the lines.

Heres the link:

http://www.flynbye.com/catalog/i62.html

As for other sources for the lines, I don't know of any as of yet.

Wesmanw02 has installed this setup and taken many pictures. He needed to space his rims out less than the 3/4" needed for an adapter, so he chose a spacer along with longer wheel studs. I'm going to link to his thread here as well as in the 1st post and I will include some of his photos.

R1 Concepts has a replacement 14" vette rotor for $355 a pair. They are pretty cool looking.

GOD DAMN ME. I just installed my C5 kit yesterday (Finally after 2 years) and cut the freaking ear off. Now you tell me the CTS-v caliper will bolt right in.

Good job on this JasonWW and all the contributed people. What's gonna be next JasonWW? Keep it coming.

if c6z06 brakes are same as Zr1 brake calipers (i mean the mounts are the same) then you probly could run a 15 or 15.5 rotor

will the core (center) of the ZO6 rotors rust or is there a coating on them to prevent it? I hate the look of rust on the centers and would probably end up painting them black if I have to?

And Jason, putting 1* negative camber on the wheel, is that something someone can do with their own tools or is that something a shop has to do? I love the way that looks, but I imagine you do go through front tires faster... not that its a big deal because mine isn't daily driven

thanks all for the info, this is a great thread

Front end alignment should only be done on late model computerized alignment machines.

Adding some negative camber (0.5* to 1*) should help the tires wear more evenly (not wear faster). It did for me, at least. Assuming you like to go around corners fast, the factory spec of 0* camber tends to wear the outside edge. Plus you'll get more cornering grip.

I guess if you travel in a straight line mostly, then the inner edge will wear a tad more due to the extra weight on it, but wear should not be higher than normal.

All corvette calipers have the same bolt attachment points. So if you have the C5 or C6 conversion, you can bolt up C6 Z06 or C6 ZR1 calipers. Wheel clearance however, will be a problem for those monster calipers and rotors. 18" wheel needed for the 14" rotors and 19" wheel needed for the 15" rotors.

Why would you need the C5/C6 conversion to bolt up C6 Z06 calipers?? The Z06 calipers bolt directly to our stock LS1 spindles with no modifications needed.

And if you say that all the Corvette calipers attach the same way, then that means ZR1 calipers would be a direct bolt on to our spindles too. The mounting ears on the caliper are what determine rotor size, so theoretically the ZR1 caliper and rotor should be a direct bolt on, just like the Z06 setup.

The GM Z06 rotors come with a coating from the factory to prevent rust. They basically paint the entire rotor (with a light/overcoat spray on the pad surface) and then let the brake pads clear off any excess paint.

Neither the CTS-V nor the C6 Z06 calipers will fit a 15" rotor. You would need the ZR1 calipers and 15.5" rotors for that setup.
