Overall Preferance: Your WS6/SS vs. 2010 Camaro?
I like the new ones, because they have a lot of style, and are pretty tricked out from the factory. I like the retro look, but it's kind've played out already with every manufacturer doing the exact same thing. The downside of the new camaro's interior in my view is the radio ***** and that sort of thing that will take a lot to modify and still make the modified parts look like they belong. But it is a neat car. Im still glad I have my 4th gen though!

The c scoop on the side of the 2010 looks like it was copied from a mustang. I think my 2000 SS looks sleeker and sexier. it was not really copied from anything and did not have the word retro anywhere. If they wanted to make it retro why didn't the make it look like a 1st gen with roll up windows, no power seats, cheap AM/FM radio, M6 trans, 400hp, 12 bolt, A/C optional and price it at $25,000. How many of those could they sell?

4th Generation, Absolutely horrible interior,exterior styling was good but not quite timeless. On the plus side they are easy to mod and easy to make track performers and autocrossers. I have owned over 10 4th gens and I'd trade my Formula or any 4th gen I ever had for a 5th gen anyday.

I believe GM went in the wrong direction in letting the car gain any weight!
Performance is driven by improvements. The sensors and stabilty control could have come with no weight gain. The power also could have come with no weight gain. So why is the car almost 500 pounds heavier?

So what if i AM 50 Cent? Got a problem?
I really like the new camaros, but i would not get rid of my 4th gen for one. Wait a few years, the new camaro will be played out because of all the hype its received and a 4th gen trans am will still look as bad *** as it did on the showroom floor....
Also to the guy who said the 20s are too big and it should have 16s or 17s.... you obviously havent seen one in person because the wheels do not look at all out of place, and if you threw a set of 16'' on there it would look like complete ****. I think these cars could pull off a 21/22 combo no problem.

I am at the MIRAGE in VEGAS now..they have a red one next door at TREASURE ISLAND. I think it is one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen..YUK.

I was referring to the 5th gens with the 21/22 comment.....
you can buy 21'' wheels from GMPP for the new ones so don't be surprised if it is the norm....

I think the 2010 is a better all around car, stock for stock its faster, handles better, and is more comfortable. Also think it looks better, and will attract way more v6 buyers like the mustang has always enjoyed. I thought that might keep it around longer but with the new CAFE rules I think it will need to be downsized to a much lighter platform to survive to gen6.
I think for raw performance potential, especially straight line the 4th gen wins out.
