Somebody would have asked for pics and then he would have one of his girlfriend/wife and would request a PM for noods for 3-4 pages and somehow either the Mustang, ZR1, or GT-R would get brought up and we'd be sitting in the exact same spot we are now.

I always miss the good discussions. Damn it. Ford does dominate the track. They are still slow as street cars.

I love the LSx engines but the 4th gen Fbody is a POS. Horrible interior, horrible seats, glass transmission and a ******* hemophiliac 10 bolt, the engine is half way under the windshield ( I know its for better weight distribution but it makes it a pain in the *** to do anything under there) the doors are horrible, the dash is terrible, they total out very easily, and I really could keep going but I'll stop. Now with all this said I have had an Fbody ('02 SS) and I did like the car, but all the aforementioned just got old, quick.
are you comparing the fbody's interior with mustangs or just generally saying that they're POS?

because IMO mustang's interior is as bad (if not worse) as fbody

IMHO stock for stock fbody 4th gen > mustang GT performance wise but if we're talking about mod then the sky is the limit

just my .02

Just in general. Hell even the '00 Civic I had at least didn't have any cheap dime-thick plastic on the dash that would crack in 2 years.

Sad, but true...and it never used to be that way. I guess new leadership will let the inmates run the asylum.

C'mon man I'm sure you realize that as the Fbody gets older it gets less expensive meaning younger and younger people can afford them (unfortunately it came at a time where the new leadership took over)

Oh I agree. This just doesn't have the same feel. Is everyone experiencing delays between screens poping up? I get them and all I can see is the add.

The F-body has been affordable for years now. The problem is not the car, the problem is guys that get them, think they are fast and get online telling guys that have had MUCH faster cars what it takes to go fast. Then when the older guys get fed up they leave and the asshats who haven't gone fast yet take over. Thats the problem. I have no desire to argue with a 19 year old whether or not a 12 second car is fast or not. Even though I partake in those discussions from time to time. But thats just when I'm really bored.
