Essentially all it was was a regular V6 Camaro with ground effects, Z28 dual exhaust (likely the exhaust SLP would take off Z28s when creating SSes...?), 16 x 8 ZR1 style wheels (as opposed to 17 x 9 ZR1 style wheels which were optional on SSes at that time period) and I think a stripe kit may have been part of the options as well. I'd have to look at the stuff I have on it to be sure. I think stripes only came in silver and black and on a limited exterior color basis.
I may have some pics already somewhere, but I figured I'd ask in case you know anybody.
SLP RS Package 01-02
The 2002 Camaro RS package offered by SLP could be added to V6-powered Camaro's for $849. It was available for cars finished in Artic White, Light Pewter Metallic, Silver Metallic. Navy Blue Metallic, Onyx Black, Monterey Maroon Metallic, Sunset Orange Metallic, Mystic Teal Metallic and Bright Rally Red. The RS content included a front grille with the Chevrolet bow-tie logo, an interior plaque with RS badge, 3 exterior RS badges, a dual-outlet exhaust system with a high-performance muffler (adds 5-hp and a throaty exhaust sound) and black or silver striping. The black striping was not available for Onyx Black or Navy Blue cars and the silver striping was not available for Light Pewter or Sunset Orange cars.
I like what you're doing, Brangeta. I have nothing really to add except keep it up. It's kind of odd, actually, the amount of information regarding Camaros is so minimal on the web. Especially when compared to Mustangs.

I am still in dire need of a few years of photos.
I need...
http://brangeta.googlepages.com/4thg...arohistory2222
- 2001 sunset orange metallic (odd that I haven't gotten this yet, isn't it? I think there are a lot of them on this forum)
- 1997 30th anniversary Z28 and SS with the optional houndstooth interior hopefully a little visible
- I really really really need replacement Bright Green Metallic pictures if you know anyone who has one or has owned one long enough that they bought it when it still looked stock and might have pics of it stock
- 2000 or 2001 Monterey Marroon Metallic preferably on a sunny day
- 1994 Dark Green-Gray Metallic hopefully in lighting when it looks more gray or green than the pic I have where it looks blue
- 1993 Purple Pearl Metallic where it looks more purple preferably
- 2000 or 2001 mystic teal metallic
- 1998, 1999, or 2000 navy blue metallic, preferably a convertible with white top
- 1998 to 2000 Bright Red/Bright Rally Red, preferably NOT an SS
- 1998 to 2000 Black/Onyx Black, preferably NOT an SS
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

Here are some pics with the stock wheels and no tint when I first got the car. The stickers are not lined up, but now they are, and I can take better pictures now if need be...
I really want to help you out, because I want the BGM cars represented well

Here is a very recent pic after I waxed it,

and more blue than this:

because right now, it looks like they are two completely different colors, but they aren't.
-----------
You BGM guys are terrible
So far there has always been ONE or TWO things keeping me from using your pics!
turbo86--wrong wheels, no grill, yet gorgeous pictures that would be perfect for the site
RaggedRides--wrong wheels, no grill, great pics, yet they are too artsy compared to the rest of my pics
RaggedRides second attempt--no Z28 badges, and the pics almost make the color look mystic teal
98greenZ28-- no Z28 badges in the pics I could actually use, yet perfect otherwise. Because of the black roof, I can't just upload it and label it as a V6. It'd be a lie too that wouldn't work, because the Z28 has slightly lower suspension than a V6 car.
You guys are killing me.
In the topics on other forums I have posted this in... the BGM guys are killing me in those topics too.
I found this one somewhere, and I could get away with the wheels since you could get them from GM Accessories, but I'd have to photoshop the Z28 emblem black...

These are the old pics I had on the site and the first one is pixelated and the 2nd one is a bad angle and the nose is cut off. You BGM guys do this on purpose don't you?

or this one:
rather than bluish like this one:
I can DEFINITELY use it.

I already have two bluish appearing ones, and one that appears extremely green, so looking for a pic that is midway between those extremes.
