427 dilemma - need advice
1) Can I use the ls1 heads, and other supporting accessories, on the 427 block (even though they wont work its best)?
2) Will I be ruining the 427 block by using these?
3) Could I use the same 6 speed T56 stock transmission, stock 10 bolt rear-end for now til I can free up some more cash? If so, how long can these hold up before they break or something goes wrong?
Pls help Me out as I have no idea which direction to take with these. My vision is just to have a badass 427 camaro. Thnx Ben

If you MUST do this, buy whatever your going to buy and just keep saving up and buying stuff for it so you can swap motors instead of having it apart 8 times b/c you wanna be a cheap ***.

Your correct there the LS1 heads WILL NOT work on an ls7. Again power goals.....those are important for making build choices
As stated, LS1 heads will not go on an LS7 block. The LS7 heads are cheap though. I think about $800 a pair from some site sponsore.
I also have no idea about the dry sump oil system.
