Lontube Headers I have a 2000 Z28 Camaro and currently it has an SLP Loudmouth catback, and an SLP lid. I've been researching longtube headers...SLP, Pacesetters, Kooks, Hooker, but I don't really know what is best. Looking for good performance gains but not too much of a dent to the wallet.
Pacesetters are what you want if you are looking for bang for your buck. If you want super quality and something that will last longer than your car get either a set of ARH or kooks.
With where you live, I would go with stainless steel.
Pacesetters are a good budget choice for coated.
If you can afford it, I would go Kooks.
I have heard good things about ARH as well, but have no experience with them.
I have had good luck installing Kooks. Pacesetters have been hit or miss. Quality control does not seem to always be there. I think they are more good than bad, but I have seen ones that need massaging to get in.
