Default 95 Camaro Videos/Progress Advanced Induction H/C/I 383 10 Second

Kind of carrying over from the inital build thread with this one. This post will be the track videos and the tuning progress of my 95 Camaro 385c.i. build.

Here is a quick overview of the new motor:

New Engine--

Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, MSD7AL2-Plus Box with Crank Trigger and PRO Power HVC 7 Series Coil.

The car also has a Pro Built Autos 4L60E Manual Valve Body Trans with a 5000 rpm 5 disk lockup Vigilante Converter. Out back is a Strange S60 Dana with 4.56's and a detroit locker.

Here is a link to my youtube page, I update videos about every week or so:
http://www.youtube.com/user/quik95lt1

So far the car has rolled 449 rwhp @ 7400 on a Land and Sea dyno with a bad optispark that died the day after the dyno and a full restricted air intake with filter. More power to come as tuning and troubleshooting progresses and thank you to everyone for your support and suggestions!!

Special thanks to Phil and Ron at Advanced Induction for all of your help!!

Default tune!!!

The pro ram would help but I think just ironing this out and getting the tune perfect will get this car there. I know it will, its got the power the suspension and the weight to get there. It's gonna take some time but by the end of this year it will be there!

bigger tires and a gear swap would be mint. loose some streetability but it will hook up better and more consistantly. yea the track prep sucked on friday night. so i def see why u werent launching her hard. a lot of little things seemed to be off. once they r all fixed that thing is gonna haul, cuz we all know this sport is a sport of inches, so all the little things make up a big portion of how its gonna run. i gurantee in october that car will run sub 10.50's

I agree that there's no reason to change your intake and converter at this point. You'll get there.

Default converter

Yea the converter locked at about 125 mph becuase I had my street tune in the transmission and forgot to put the track tune in it. If I didn't go on the limiter from 2-3 and the converter didn't lock that would have been a 130mph pass. And that 2-3 shift was on the limiter at 8200 FYI lol.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_rTT9PcZ2Y

That build looks similar to mine. I can only hope mine turns times similar to yours. That is an awesome car. I was actually watching that video on yourtube earlier today. And here's the car on ls1tech. That's awesome...

Have any pics of the car? (ext/int) You should def pick up MPH, if that was your "street tune."

Default street

Its more streetable than you would think. It's not something you would want to daily drive but for a weekend car show or street meet it's definatly a fun ride that drives good. The converter saves the car from any bucking or cam surge, so all in all the only complaint is that it is a really thirsty motor that likes to drink the good stuff at $9 a gallon. I'll put up some street videos when I get a chance.
