New Regal = New Grand National??? ive said it once and ill say it again, this is the perfect time to bring back the GN. with all the performance markets heading towards turbocharged smaller engines, it only makes sense to make a GN. a turbo DI 3.6 from the Camaro/CTS (lower CR obviously) would make some great power, and GM could under rate it all they want (again). as long as its in a completely stylish yet tasteful body, dont want a retro body at all. stublety is the name of the game, like the original. this particular car, im not sure if it would fit to be a GN. AWD, like stated in the link, would make it that much more badass.

wow such a great idea bringing the GN back...... but this can sooo easily be turned for the worst... like by not going all black, and by putting a different plant besides a turbo v6 and making it AWD.

GM, if you're reading this thread... Build the Grand National,but open a new plant and use the Camaro chassis:
*Camaro chassis with new body sculpting
*Alumatec V6 (Camaro base engine), and turbo-charge it! It is already forged. With direct injection, vvt and active fuel management. It is a very high tech engine begging to be boosted from its 300 horse.
*Leather interior.
*Black!
Optional luxury package with Navigation and bells and whistles that the performance crowd may not want for weight or price.
Optional performance package with carbon fiber hood, larger wheels, and if you are feeling real aggressive a GM performance parts water injection kit.
GM you have the parts, and have a winner with the Camaro. Why wait, and play games with the market. Crank production up and seize on the opportunity by keeping demand alive for a v6 well into the future!
