Default Anyone tried the new Weld Racing "Weldstar" wheels

I am thinking of purchasing a set of the new Weldstar's anodized black and want to know if anyone has bought a set of these wheels yet? If so, how do you like them? How do they look? Pictures? Im just trying to figure out if its worth me selling my prostars for. I do quite a bit of street driving so I need a wheel that won't bend very easy. Any input would be great. Thanks

A few people on here have them. There is a red SS with the black ones on here, and a red T/A with the black ones. I have the polished ones on my car, and so do a few of my friends.

My junk

Red T/A on here

The Weld R/T wheels are designed for street and strip use. They will hold up to daily driving and also provide a light weight wheel for racing. It is the perfect set up for you guys that want one set of wheels for both applications. The centers have a nice curved profile, and are designed for late model brake applications. My opinion, the best looking 15 inch, 3 piece wheel out there.

they do look great. but why couldn't the fronts have been tucked under a little farther? bogart does it, so it's obviously doable.

No, Greg Weld went out of business. They are 17x4 Weld Racing Alumastars. They are not a street wheel. I use 15x4 Weldstars for the street, just use the 17s for the track. The 17x4s are a lot lighter than the 15x4s, since they are a drag only wheel, and not a street wheel.
