672BBC Twin turbo O/L 10.5 I have been hearing alot about my "mythical" bbc lately.So i figured i would put up a couple of pics so that people could see it's real.
a little background on the car;
I've been racing this 79 Z28 since 1998,it originally had an n2o smallblock,then a procharged smallblock,a single turbo smallblock,then finally a twin turbo smallblock.The car ran in the 4.50's 1/8 mile and a 7.18 1/4 mile.
rundown of the new setup;
672 bbc twin pro mod 94mm turbos on methanol-3200+hp
Donovan HC 700 alum block 11.100 deck height
Brodix PB 2005 heads-flow 580 intake 390 exhaust
Crower billet 5.100 stroke crank
Je custom 4.580 bore pistons-alot of compression
GRP aluminum rods
Jesel valvetrain
LSM keyway lifters
Marcella custom intake manifold
Precision 94mm billet pro mod turbos
Tial 60mm wastergates
Va Speed 2 3/8 custom headers
Micks preformance 550lb injectors-2 per cylinder
Rage cam driven fuel pump
Mick's performance engine management system
ATI superglide 3 and converter

Damn Shawn!!!! I wish you would have just kept this to yourself. I did not need to see this fricken animal. I'm happy for you but damn???? That's why I never brag on anything. Cus there is always someone out there who's got one bigger, better and or faster. That's sweet!! Now you gotta keep us updated....

I'm not building it for 2nd place
when you put all 3 together,you get 1 of 2 things.either really quick et's or something close to nuclear fission.
you know how it is Dave-i'll be posting updates as we go
4.0's 200mph 1/8 mile 6.20's 250mph 1/4 all at 3000lbs and stock frt suspension.
I got to thank Brian here at the shop for staying late in the heat and helping with the fabrication-otherwise nothing would still be done.
When we go to the track,Phil will be there helping me get this thing tamed down and getting down the track-hopefully producing some killer et's
