2) Bassani ORY
3) Bassani street competition catback
4) No cats
5) No header specific tuning
6) No before & after dynos
7) I've had 10 different exhaust combos on my two LS1 cars, and this one is my favorite. It's VERY loud at WOT, sounds great at idle (deep, aggresive, loud but not too loud, low pitched lopy idle with my cam & stock heads). At cruise it's also very aggresive, deep, and noticeably loud, but nothing annoying or overly loud. Has a real nice pitch (it's always got a real deep sound to it under any conditions), only droning/beating type sounds is when trying to slowly accelerate while staying in TC lock up (less than half throttle type acceleration) during expressway cruising at speeds above 60mph or so. No typical kazooing type rasp under any type of driving that most ORYs have. It has some very low pitched rasp when the exhaust is still cold right at 2100rpm, but once warmed, that low pitched rasp basically goes away.
8) Anyone considering this system should be prepared for the fact that it's loud. Not race car type loud, but loud enough that some may not like it for a daily driver. If you want a great compromise between a "loudmouth/mufflerless" type system and the "slightly louder than stock" type system, this is the one for you. It's right about in the middle ground, leaning towards the louder side. I would not want to go back to any of my previous systems over this one.
hey i have longtubes to Y pipe no cats and a flowmaster, but i want it just a tad bit louder, is this bassani louder than the flowmasters?

6) I feel her pull harder. It's been over 4 years so I'm used to driving with them. Not sure what to really say.
7) ... I got nothing!!
8) ... DON'T plan on "slamming"/"drop" the car or go over speed bumps. Figure out how to clear pipes in your engine bay from the engine harness.

Texas Speed Catted Y
SLP Loudmouth 1
Sound: Perfect
Idle: Very tame at idle with a nice mean tone
Cruising/Normal driving: Very quiet when you need it to be but it really wakes up with a little gas.
WOT: Very loud at wide open throttle.
Overall I was very impressed. This system is lightweight, and flows great. Not nearly as loud as everyone bitches about.
2) TSP true dual X pipe exhaust dumped
3) Dynomax bullets
4) No cats (just got state ref)
5) Tuned
6) Made 351.24 rwhp 361.60 rwtq with the Headers & dual exhaust. Last dyno with cat back only made 323.34 rwhp 337.05 rwtq. That's a 27.9 rwhp 24.57 rwtq gain.
7) I LOVE the sound.... WOT is amazing! But like I mentioned before its loud & can be heard from down the street. So if you got cops that don't like loud cars then this ain't for you. But true duals>everything else
8) Yes I would recommend my exhaust to anyone who want's a bad *** sounding LS1.

It sounds good when I punch it but I think it sounds like a$$ driving...what can I do to cut down the rasp? Does the TSP rumbler catback have less rasp?
