Fuel Cell Questions.
I planned on doing an aluminum fuel tank in factory location. I can't find anyone who is curently making a bolt in one. I have found a couple of threads where people were talking about having one made but all fizzled out.
Now I want to use the factory fill location and will be using an external fuel pump from it.
Are any of you guys running naything like this?
I am pretty new to this aspect of building and I am trying to design a safe system for a street/strip car.
Nasty perfomance used to make a tank, not sure if they still do, but that was a stock location mounted alum tank... that's you're only other option.
Stock tank with a racetronix pump, and a standalone cell (1 gallon) in the nose for the nitrous fuel system will work too if you're going that route.
Or depending on your combo you could do a single intank with your stock tank and a standalone fuel system for nitrous.
Lot's of possibilities.

He talked me into doing a twin 340lph pumps in the stock tank with one being dormant until the nitrous is ready to be sprayed and then I can flip on the secondary via a hobbs switch.
I will be running your front bumper support regardess Steve so if I end up going stand alone I will already have that location covered.
Thanks for all the help though guys, let me know if any of you have an opinion on this set up. It is the Stage 3 Street kit from Nasty Performance.

I was going to run the plastic stock tank but was afraid that the lines were too thin to carry the 30% more fuel the car needs on E85.
I opted for a Nasty Performance tank and a weldon pump that I mounted in the drivers side rear fender area, where the charcoal canister used to be.
