Beware of bogarts-May come apart at high speeds and low speeds luckily i was only going 15mph and this didnt happen during a pass down the track. When calling they pretty much give you the big fat **** you. No the wheels are not within their 1 year warranty but you would expect a wheel to not come apart like this. I would never run another Bogart for safety reasons.

This happens from time to time with light wheel's...... do a seach and you will find some other's.... and not just bogart's...
It sucks but a warrenty is just that...and for all they know you have been driving the car threw pot holes

I know alumastar's are known to bend on the street............ it's the risk you take with a light wheel.......... If I remember right you can brake or bend a light wheel just by taking a corner to hard....
Even with it breaking at the track the stresses on the street add up.... or if you are making hard turns at the track....
It sucks man but it is apart of the sport...
I had some monocoques on my last car (lighter then pro star's) and had them on the street but was very carefull....... They never broke but other's were not so lucky...

Did this happen at a track or where you street driving on them? I know that they dont recommend any street driving with them. I have the welded RT for my car, and the things just sit in the garage and collect dust because I am afraid to use them on the street because of something like this.

this is drag racing tech section ; not street/strip. The poster's got an 8 second car; probably doesn't see lots of street time.
Bogarts are light b/c there's not much mass to them. What else do you expect? Use common sense.
