but it was a given that it could be fixed... it is after all aluminum
That's pretty cool, but as said it would be pricey. I guess if you're doing some sort of special numbers matching restore and needed everything perfect, stock, and original, then it would probably be worth it.

Look at the BBC Brodix Head Hunter heads..... they are like 3k, then tack on any hand porting you want and pretty soon you have 4k plus into them plus any fancy valvetrain work or parts.
$1,000 for repairs is not bad considering the cost of replacing them
I have seen the repair cost list and it's not bad...A local has a set of 10 year old BBC dart heads that came CNC ported from dart and he put a chunk of cash into having them hand ported some after the CNC work...
Those guys at BRODIX know their stuff from what I hear.
