Default LS3/L92 dual plane carb intake

Anybody know how much these will be going for? I just saw it in the GMPP catalog. I searched by p/n on here but didn't come up with anything. Most of the vendors have "call for price" listed. Sorry if this has been covered already.

Do you have the single plane or dual plane? I was under the impression the dual plane just came out. Can u post a picture?

Apparently the dual plane intake that is listed in the GMPP catalag has not been released yet. I went to my local Chevy dealer with the p/n from the catalog and the parts guy said the number was no good. I'll keep checking, if any sponsors have any info on the dual plane intake let us know, I'd like to get my hands on one.

I went back to my local Chevy dealer and harrassed them some more about the dual plane LS3/L92 carb intake. The parts guy called over to GMPP and he was told "hopefully" end of December or mid January the intake will be released. No price though. So I guess we have to sit tight for a little while longer.

Thumbs up

COOL... This is the first I've heard of it, but I'm glad to finally see one coming to market! Depending on how it performs (if it's not as peaky as the single-plane intakes reportedly are), I might be interested in having one plumbed for injectors, & switching over to a carb-style TB...

This is the first time I've heard of this intake. A dual plane? I hope it is similar to an EDY RPM series. I would be the first one in line to buy one, LOL. I hate having to run a single plane on a street engine. If any sponsors know any thing about this, I would love to see a picture. Ron

Here is an image from the catalog. Yes...it's tiny.
Still can't find it on the market yet.
Anyone hear of a release date?
I'm gonna try and wait for it...Love to see some comparisons to the single plane first.

Hmmm, I thought that they were shipping. I know that the LS7 LSX Manifold has shipped.

Check with the guys at SDPC. If anyone has them they would.

I can check next monday with my sources at GMPP.

There is your answer. On Monday I can get an ETA. Or they might start showing up on John's doorstep.....

Very good! Thanks!!!
I'm surprised that Edelbrock hasn't been all over these by fitting the bill with every type of manifold they offer.
I guess I'm spoiled by all the Gen I stuff out there.

I can wait.
The manifold is one of the last bits going on. Maybe I'll change my mind later and go that route....maybe a Kinsler Cross Ram...

^^^and from what I hear, a PAIN to tune and dial in...none the less they are awesome and awesome-looking as well...I think that they are more suited for "track" cars vs. DD or real street vehicles. Imagine the "BLING" factor when you raise your hood! If I had the $$$$.$$, I would get one just to keep on the side of my bed and look at every night before I crashed...

dual plane intakes usually offer more torque earlier in the power band, but limit peak HP. Some say they tend to be more streetable....

single planes usually offer better peak HP figures at the sacrifice of lower RPM torque.
