Twin Turbo LS1 1993 RX7 Build
Had an offer pop up that I can't refuse. A local turbo shop (Neukin Motor Development) want's to build an equal length tubular manifold turbo kit for the car at cost, so it looks like I'll be going through with that and this kit will be going up for sale. After that its just finalize some wiring, cooling system, paint, and tune.
Fans are to be determined, though they will be puller(s).
Once Beast (well, Neukin) gets the new kit done, we'll build the cooling system, as the turbochargers may end up moved back a couple inches from their current spot to get us a touch more clearance for the fan. The best case scenario is a Taurus fan, but it may be 2x slim fans with a small shroud.
Nick, get with me on the Neukin stuff, I'm curious what he's planning and would like to be around any possible time to see it as it goes together. He needs to jig this.

Also, I'm totally test fitting the new kit on the FC.

2 weeks ago I picked up a set of 4 factory FD rims to go with the 2 stockers I already have (which have normal street tires on them), 2 of the rims came with brand new 10.5x26 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials, the other 2 will be getting 11.5x28 M/T ET Streets. Along with those I picked up 2 rims for "skinnies" to run with the bias ply ET Streets. With those we were FINALLY able to put the car on all 4 for the first time with the motor in the car!
Still ironing out the plans/details on the new Neukin tubular stainless steel turbo kit.

Next up is a slightly different turbo kit (tubular style) and finish cooling system, cold side and a few more details.
Decided to keep the turbo kit I have for simplicity and $$$. Going to add a section of braided stainless flex pipe on the drivers side for some wiggle room and also try and get more wastegate priority on that side as well by putting the WG at the 90* elbow right before the T4 flange.
Thinking about doing a double din touch screen "carputer" setup and running HP Tuners on it as well as all the normal functions of an in dash cd/dvd/nav screen, but we'll see.
You really can't go wrong with a big single(88mm or bigger) or good sized twins (60mm+). Either way space is going to be tight. You're most definitely going to want to use the Samberg subframe though for extra down pipe clearance.
