GM Springs Forward With 'Truckfest'

$1,000 Bonus Cash Plus Zero Percent Financing for 60 Months on Most GM Trucks

DETROIT - General Motors today announced "Truckfest," a 60-day celebration of industry-leading pickups, SUVs and crossovers combined with outstanding customer incentives. Truckfest, which runs from April 1 through June 1, 2004, features $1,000 bonus cash plus interest-free financing for 60 months or customer cash on most 2004 GM trucks.

"GM is the industry sales leader for trucks, full-size pickups and SUVs, and we offer customers the widest range of choice from Chevrolet Equinox to GMC Sierra and Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum," said John Smith, group vice president of GM North America Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing. "Our North American plants produce more high quality, class-leading fuel-efficient trucks than any other manufacturer - like the new Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon - which score better fuel economy ratings than any other 2004 four-wheel-drive pickup truck."

"Truckfest's unique combination of bonus cash and 60-months interest-free financing gives consumers one more reason to visit a participating GM dealership and experience our great product lineup for themselves through GM's innovative 24-Hour Test Drive program. What better way to celebrate as we enter the spring selling season," Smith added.

Trucks excluded from the Truckfest program include HUMMER H2; Chevrolet Topkick, Colorado Crew and Silverado Half-Ton Crew; GMC Kodiak, Canyon Crew and Sierra Half-Ton Crew; and most Cadillac trucks.

Bonus cash may be combined with financing rates OR customer cash.

A national campaign including television, print and Internet advertising begins on April 1.

my local dealer said they have the best rebates ever right now on new '04 Silverados

 

and nada on the CTS-V
