the base setting on the shock is different than a "off the shelf" afco... that way your not at the stiffest on compression and almost the loosest extension on strange rear double adjustable... just guessing here but i've noticed this on my strange shocks...

Does this apply for non-F body applications, like a G-body too?

To answer your question, yes, but we tested a new type of single adjustable shock from AFCO while we were at the LSX Shootout. It worked out really well, and the customer we tried the shocks with wants a set A.S.A.P. As soon as I know pricing and when they'll be available, i'll let everyone know.

Yeah, the singles Burkhart posted about are the new Reactor single adjustables, and we are offering them at $199 as well.

You'll need to run an AFCO 14" spring with a 2 1/2" I.D. As far as mounts, the front shocks come with all mounting hardware. You will need to buy our shock relocation brackets for the rear shocks. We also recommend using the spring seat bearing kit for the front coil-overs. This just makes it easier to make ride-height adjustments.

If you're interested, I can get you everything you need. Give me a call at 225-673-3533.

Is there a need to change the valving once the car changes (weight, suspension, hp, etc...). In other words, if I were to buy a set today for as the car sits now, will the same valving work 2 years down the line with many changes to the car?

the valving wont change, but the shock adjustment will. In a nutshell, yes, you will be able to use the same shocks.

Just reminding everyone, that these prices are not sale prices. This is permanent mark-down pricing. Anytime anyone is ready to order, just call me.

OK... I got my AFCO rear coil overs but they did not come with spring holders/spanners... Are those extra or did they just short me those part?... Please advise.

Thanks.
