Default Thnaks, which line?

Thanks for that info. One more question. Once I get that fitting which line would be best? I know this sounds stupid, BUT I am only installing the gauge for looks so I want easy, if you know what I mean?

Thanks again.

If your gauge is vacuum/boost then the brake booster line is perfect.

Back on topic -

Very good info on WG mounting and Vacuum hookup. The use of two solenoids is NOT necessary like most say. I have used a single on 25+ twin turbo cars, most making over 900 to the wheels.

Got a quick dumb question about wiring. I got 3 gauges and power for a DMH e-cutout going in and wanted to put one of those inline fuse deals in. So what I have is the inline fuse comes with 12 gauge wire wheras all of my gauges are about 20 guage and the e cutout is mayb 16 guage. Can I splice them all onto the single 12 gauge wire for the fuse? I was going to throw a 10 amp fuse in it and crimp on a spade connector and plug it into the ACCY spot on the fuse box.

Digging this old one up. Procharged ls1. I'm hooking up a mechanical autometer boost vac gauge. Where do I splice in. I tried on the loupe rubber line from the Procharger ad the larger hose from the Procharger too abd nothing. What do I do ?

splice into the brake booster hose and you'll see vacuum and boost no problem. If you pulled some of the evap/checkvalve stuff off the intake you could also plumb into those ports on the intake manifold as well.

Gonna need more info than that. What gauge, have a wiring diagram for the gauge/how many wires does it have etc.

i know this is diggn but i need alittle clearer image of where to slip the wires for the gauges through the firewall. i know the first page said somehting like in that little area, but where exactly on the other end?
ill be running a 3 gauge Apillar with a electronic Digital boost/vac, electrical digital fuel pressure, and a MTX-L WB.

Also it was REALLY hard to follow some of the posting about were to reference things toto. let me check to make sure where im going to hook mine up.

Boost/Vac gauge - brake booster hose (after throttle body)
BOV - brake booster hose (after throttle body)
Wastegate - compressor housing (rear mount so kinda limited lol)
Boost referenced FPR - brake booster hose?

was also wondering, anyone running a vacuum manifold or lol/tree to run these various extra reference lines to one source?

You need to remove the panels below the dash and you can see where the hole comes out. It was basically above and to the left of the pedals, nice and hidden. As far as referencing, you're correct on the gauge and BOV. The Wastegate should be referenced after the intercooler if you have one. Also, there are disputes regarding a boost referenced FPR. If you reference it after the TB, then when you're not in boost, but in vacuum, you'll drop fuel pressure. When in boost it'll raise fuel pressure. If referenced prior to the TB, itll be constant when not in boost and ramp when in boost. In my opinion, its easier to do it pre-TB.

ok cool thanks! yeah im trying to get a clear picture on the bR fuel pressure regulator.
what i dont get is, you set it on vacuum and then run it that way when you dont hook up the boost reference line...
what im not understanding is if you set it this way at sya 60 psi in vacuum... how does it drop? the aeromotive br-fpr is suppose to keep the pressure constant unless its boost referenced then it gets 1:1 boost to fuel psi. just wondering if im just not understanding or is everyone regurgitating another internet myth?
