What do you think is the best track tire?
Need more info on the car. Any tire isn't the best tire for every aplication. What I found when I was looking at tires was. Bias will off 95% performance in 99% or all situations. Radial will offer 100% performance in 60% of all situations.
Radials are faster but they are much harder to make hook with less than perfect track prep, they also are less forgiving. Bias will hook nearly as hard on a unpreped street as they will on a super preped track. There is a lot more pros and cons with each tire but these are the two that steered me to the ET street.

If you an really dial in your syspension, and like I said want your absolute best times that are hit or miss then the radial is your friend. If you are like everyone else with a nice ride and want to regularly kick *** then you will want the Bias.

As mentioned above, bias-ply tires work better on most 6-speed cars versus a drag radial. What will work even better is a slick, but if that's not an option I know the Hoosier QTP work well.
