[How-To/Write Up] Changing the Color of Your Halo Headlights Ok, here is the writeup.
You will need adobe acrobat or something similar to read the PDF file, it was the easiest way to format it and still not take a day of writing HTML. The writeup is a large file, approximatly 376kb. If you are on a 56k this could take a bit to download.

excellent write up... ive been hopeing orangepeel would post one up but i think he didnt want anybody else to do it (i dont really blame him) im guessing this will go in the appearence "hall of fame" sticky .... and this is one of the best write ups ive seen...
i think its only a matter of time before somebody paints the halo housing (prolly has been done but ive never seen it) i think it could look really badass... kinda like the c6 vette lights.....hmmmm i might be onto something.. its like the super !whistler mod.. no its the !presto_mod...

As for the halos on the fog light I'm not sure I have the normal TA fogs in mine, but if you want to send me some halos I'll be more than happy to report back with a yes or no

Didn't take pictures of how I did it the first time around, but however I really wasn't wanting to take it all apart and do it a second time. It can be time consuming for sure, but as far as simplicity....You can do it!As far as write up. NICE! That was how I envisioned doing it too. Excellent job.

looks great, do you know if putting the halos in the oven will blow the stock led's?
we also learned that the halo's are GM headlights with black inserts(thats all)the halo is part of the black insert.i guess thats why they hold up good.
