Default anyone haveing problems with the McLeod adj slave cylinder

Ok I have just gone threw two McLeod Adjustable Cylinders and the second one was never used on the street or track! The first one lasted almost a year.
I have replaced the entire hydraulic system just to make sure that it wasn't anything else.

The story with the second one goes like this... I got it in and was bleeding the clutch for over an hour with no progress and decided to pull the tranny out to see if there was any leaking in the bell housing but there wasn't any.
So while I could see the output shaft I hooked the quick disconnect and did a lil more bleeding with the mityvac and I could push in on the throw out bearing while my girlfriend pushed on the pedal.(the pedal sticks to the floor now also! That’s how much pressure isn’t there)

I'm not too happy about the whole deal because I have spent over $150 in shipping and my car has been down for TWO MONTHS!!!!!

So I was wondering how many people have had a problem with there’s?

I think the answer would be who hasn't had problems w/ them.
Seems to be the consensus here, & what I have seen.
I have had numerous problems, I just rebuild it when I had a problem.

If you search there are a few write ups about it. you can get a rebuild kit from thunder racing, or places that sell McLeod. Or you can get a 13/16" wheel cylinder puck. Then re-use the rest of the stuff.
Then you need a wheel cylinder hone to re-dress the cylinder's bore & your set.

ditto on rebuilding it. I have rebuilt mine twice in 4 years. Watch the fluid you run also. I tried ATE Supeblue once and it ate up the rubber in less than 2 months.

Damn I can't believe that such a well known company can sell such a POS! I mean really if it doesn't work then they should do everything that they can to fix the problem.
I know that if I owned a company and I had a product out on the market and there was such a big problem with it I would be embarrassed and fix it!
I’m just glad that they are warranting it. But it doesn’t do any good to if the warranted part isn't any better.
