Default 350Z's vs. American Muscle

One of my friends was thinking of buying a 350Z saying how fast they were. Well I made this thread so he would change his mind, and he has, he is buying a 01' SS soon.

Very nicely done, changing an import lovers mind is always a struggle sometimes, he will not regret not buying that computer mouse

Your friend made a good choice, tell him to search around this site and it will help him a lot in the future.(Im sure you already know)....sadly you started an internet bench racing war, let the swapping of videos of other peoples cars begin.

My SS monkey stomped a 350z. All I have are a few free mods and 4.10's. It was never even close.

It all depends on what you want out of a car. If he wanted to buy something to "go fast," then getting the SS would be the smart decision

Yah, I have a import but it is stock and I use it for what it should be, a gas saving daily driver, lol. I myself have been looking for a 04' Cobra. But I told him, if you want a fast car for good money get a LS1, best bang for the buck with reliability.

I hope you are not trying to prove a point with this one. You have a stock 350Z with a 100 shot racing a full bolt-on cammed WS6, and the cammed LS1 was only able to put 1 car on the Z.

I just proved that a full bolt-on cammed WS6 will beat a 350Z with test pipes and a 100 shot.
