Yea it is unusual, GTO's are never fast and the guys driving them suck at driving always!

it doesnt have all the mods listed on either car, so dont call BS yet. some of you guys under estimate the potential of a well built bolt on car. maybe the cobra driver sucked. who knows.

It helps that the GTO was dead hooking on its launch. I think its possible that he is only bolt-on. Dead hooking and good shifting will win a lot of races even against faster cars.

That guy can drive the **** out of that goat. I dont think there was juice on it, my buddies bolt on LS2 gto whooped a bolt on 03, couldnt belive it.

05 M6 LS2 GTO:
Timing increase
Torque management disabled
Stock fuel map
American Racing 1&7/8ths long tube headers
Open headers
MT Drag Radials 275/45/17

03 SVT Cobra:
Tune
Pulley
Exhaust
Intake
315 street tires

All I know is stock to stock an LS2 GTO will outrun an LS1 FBody WITH a decent driver. Notice I said with a decent driver.....
