Im planning on using speartech for my ecm & harness.ive spoke with John a couple of times on the phone and via this site and he answered many questions i had. Im told that if you have an 06 & up engine ( with a 58 x reluctor wheel ) older ecm's are not compatible with the newer engines. speartech told me that they do not have an ecm & harness for a new ls2 with a 4l80e yet ..but will.at this point im thinking ill go with the speartech package for the engine and use a seperate transmission controler ( like a tci ).i still am researching the whole tranny thing but i think with the trans controller you can change shift points and other stuff.my project is moving slow but moving ill post any progress on the harness/ecm when i get there. |
