lowered the body finally today. the trans fit . it seems i have a little room foward and back ( i pushed it as far back as possible) .ill probably have to do some mods for the trans cooling lines but other than that it seems good. switched the engine mounts back to the correct mounting position and the frame mounts will grab the crossmember .trans crossmember way off,i think ill bolt up a piece of 1 1/4 " angle steel to move the whole thing back and drill one whole in the perch for the trans mount.i just have to check the steering to oil pan clearance before i bolt it up .will try to get some pics soon. john |
