The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Hi everyone, I know folks are hoping for some updates. I was offered a deal on used Bogart Floyd RT's, and purchased them. They look something like this:

The car is sitting waiting for more parts to show up, and for a date with the painter next week. The plan will be to paint the VFN hood white, and to fix the other paint the car as needed. The stripes and decals will be put on a little later by a professional decal company.
I am dropping the car off for paintwork today. The hood will be painted, and the rest of the car will be touched up as needed, though the paint on the car is very good.
We have additional sponsors to add to the list, thanks to you guys for helping out, the costs have been escalating pretty quick and your help is much much appreciated:
Exotic Performance Plus: SFI Balancer
Mike Norris Performance: Fuel Injectors
Streetn Strip: Throttle Body
I also want to thank the Zach and Matt at www.FQuick.com, they are an overal sponsor of the car, not part specific. We will also post all video of the car on their site, which is a interactive website that gives you the ability to host information about your rides, and also check out the info, pics, and vids from other car enthusiasts from all around the world.
Dropped the car off for paint work a few days ago, should be ready next week. Hope to do the cage next, Stenod is making it for us.
The pile of parts for the car grows.
Got word from Stenod that our roll cage is being made right now!!!
Plan is to hopefully take the car right from paint over to the cage guys. One of the cage guys is one of our very own moderators Mike Costic aka 'tuff.'
I have been checking the mail, we are waiting on fuel, suspension, valvetrain and other parts.
We will start taking more pics once the car is out of paint. We will also take some long videos.
Hood has been painted, and the rest of the paint has been looked over and a few big scratches were fixed. I will probably pick up the car tomorrow. I'll try to get the new Bogarts on and shoot some pics. The stripes are not done at this time, and will be done at a later date. I also had to replace the windshield as it was cracked.
I picked up the car, and it looks really good. I'm going to be travelling for a few days, so I won't be able to do anything on the car, but once I get back I will put on the Bogarts and do a little work on the car.
We are really waiting on the roll cage from Stenod right now. Our fabricator is ready and waiting. When we do the cage we might also install the fuel system. I need to order a 5 pt harness as well so we can get that in the car.
The next big phase will be all the engine and suspension we need to get done, and then we will make some test hits on the street and at the track. I'm waiting on a few big engine components, namely the cylinder heads and the headers. But other than that boxes are showing up every day.
Got word that the Stenod roll cage shipped yesterday, hooray!
Next work on the car will be the rollcage and then the decals. Then we will do ___________________________ to the drivetrain.
