Default Indy People....check-in and say hi!

Hey everyone it's me James. Just wanted to post up and say Hey to everyone, and see what everyone has been up to in the past few weeks. Well to let everyone know how I've been.....I've been doing pretty good. I have recentely moved, Met 2 of my sisters that I have never (before now) met (I'm 22 years old BTW), and just got my 383 stroker build under way. So hopefully as long as my work continues to stay busy, I'll have it done for next summer. But other than that, not too much of anything else has been going on. Just trying to get this engine together slowly but surely, and trying to get to know my sisters. I also have a brother I've never met but won't be able to meet him till he gets back from Iraq in about a year or so.....Well I hope everyone is doing ok and let me know how everything is going for you guys'. Hey man. I'll post up here and "represent" Indy with ya! I've been lurking here for years, but am now looking to get some contacts in the Indy area so I can start modding my car. I just paid off my '99 M6 Z28 last month, so come spring time, its mod time! I'm kinda hoping to do a lot of the work myself, within reason, although I'm still debating which direction I want to go with the car. I also own (kind of a joint venture with my dad, actually) a '94 A4 Z28 with a forged 355 LT4 and tons of other mods that I'd have to pull the book out to list. That car was completely done by a mechanic, so I didn't learn much from it. Which brought me to these forums a good 2 years ago.

Anyway, your stroker project sounds cool. So you recently moved - to Indy or from Indy?

Whats up guys, i live on the west side on indy. Sounds like you have a cool build going on. I will hopefully have my down by the spring.

Im around, just working a lot.

Have some stuff coming in for the car.....


It'il run purty good next year


$150 of spark plug wires , not MSD, Moroso Race, only 40 ohms per foot, MSD is 40-50 and these have some other nice things.

Also found out Merizie or whatever has an electic water pump thats polished and flows like another 20-30GPM over the one that you see in the summit mag...

Im coming for you James, run what ya bring and Amber can drive the Formula if you want hahaha

I could see how the cops have your car memorized....especially if it only is taking you a 1/2 hour from Indy to Tipton. You must really be hauling! I've commuted back and forth to Indy for over 14 years, and it takes me around 50 minutes to an hour to go one way.

Yep, you're right about being close to me when traveling on 31. I live 4 miles East of it.

Z Fury, yeah I live and grew up in Indy. I live close to us31 south where we all cruise at on the weekends (in the summer). I've been going down on the southside for about 4 years now. Alot of people know me by my Black 86 Iroc Z28, and others know me by my Red 94 Firebird Formula......Well next year you should definentely try to get down to the local hangouts and meet some of the guys. We're all pretty cool people.
And PLucas, hope you can get your car down on the strip (US31 South) next summer. I have alot of local guys that I run with and we're always meeting new people and hanging out, and we even help each other out when needed. So if ya ever need a hand; or anyone else who is posting up here, just LMK.
Oh and David, I never said I was trying to beat your car, so you won't have to worry about me, I'll just sick you on the guys I can't beat Since I don't have the money for an all out racecar. But if I did you'd definentely have to watch for me.... Good Luck with your car this winter, hope you see those times you were telling me your hoping for. It'll be a screaming machine I'll tell you that. Well get at me if ya need some help this winter. James
P.S.) Lets try to keep this thread going guys'. I'd like to keep in touch with some of the local guys.

Its no race car, it has a full interior and power everything still

Goodman wants a race still against his GN since he is spraying now.
Don't think he will still want a race next year. He knows I am tearing into it this winter but I bet he will bring his Nova out to run since it salmost fixed. I think my car would be fairly competative against his depending on how much faster his will run. It went like 9.2's on the old motor.

NE sider soon to be south sider. Commuting from Fishers to Columbus sucks, so I am moving to Greenwood, whiteland area.

I have a slow Z28 here.

Oh yea. We tune countless cars every year. Anything from a 98'N/A to an all out FI 800hp monsters, we have it covered. Check out the Ft. Wayne thread as we do several sessions there every year. If you have any questions, shoot me a pm and I'll get you taken care of.
